Claudine Houbart est architecte, historienne de l’art, titulaire d’un master spécialisé en conservation des villes et monuments historiques et docteur en sciences de l’ingénieur (KULeuven). Elle enseigne l’histoire de l’architecture et la conservation du patrimoine à la Faculté d’architecture de l’Université de Liège (Belgique). Ses principales recherches et publications portent sur l’histoire et la théorie de la conservation du patrimoine et de la rénovation urbaine.
 
Claudine Houbart is architect and art historian and has a specialised master in conservation of historic towns and buildings and a PhD in engineering science (KULeuven). She teaches architectural history and heritage conservation at the faculty of architecture of the University of Liège (Belgium). Her major researches and publications are in the field of history and theory of heritage conservation and urban renovation.
