I completed my master and my Ph. D. in social and cultural anthropology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). I'm interested in two main topics of research, cultural heritage and food. I dedicated my master and Ph. D. dissertations to cultural heritage in Fez (Morocco), investigating the daily life in a World Heritage site. I'm currently taking part into a collective research in Picardie (France) where I investigate the role of historic and heritage associations in the promotion of the region.
I also carried out several researches about food in Morocco and in Belgium, studying the development of organic food in these two countries and the claims for halal food in Belgium.
Among my main publications: « Affects and senses in a World Heritage site: the sensual and emotional side of the Fez medina », in World Heritage on the ground: ethnographic perspectives, and Eating in northeastern Cambodia. A socio-anthropological approach of highland food in Ratanakiri, White Lotus
