I am currently studying for my PhD in Anthropology at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa and I am in my first year. I am also employed by the National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe as an archaeologist and I having been working at Mutare Museum since 2009. My research interests borders around critically understanding knowledge production with public culture institutions such as museums and also the production of heritage in general within the discourse of power and knowledge. I have published some of my research on these issues in the Museum International Journal and I have also done two book chapters that speaks to the production of heritage in Zimbabwe with the post colonial settings.
