Shaieree Cottar is a PhD student in the Department of Geography and Environmental Management and the coordinator for the Canadian Coastal Resilience Forum at the University of Waterloo. Shaieree's research is on climate change adaptation and Canadian policies related to disaster recovery, managed retreat and resilience building against hazards.
