David Over is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Durham University in the UK. He focuses on the psychology of reasoning and logical topics relevant to it. He is the co-author with Jonathan Evans of Over & Evans (2024), Human Reasoning (Cambridge University Press), Evans & Over (2004), If (Oxford University Press), and Evans & Over (1996), Rationality and Reasoning (Psychology Press). He collaborates with Angelo Gilio, Niki Pfeifer, and Giuseppe Sanfilippo in studies of what de Finetti called the logic of probability:
