I am a fifth-year PhD student in Chinese Studies at the University of Jean Moulin Lyon III (France), where I also received my master’s degree in Chinese Studies. As part of my doctoral thesis, dedicated to the staging of Russian heritage and Russian architecture in Northeast China, I graduated with an MA in World Heritage Studies from the University of Birmingham (England) in 2017. Both months of October and November 2017 have been dedicated to a fieldwork observing management of Russian heritage and the ongoing construction of “Russian inspired architecture” in seven different cities in Northeast China. Moreover, I gave seven conference papers regarding issues of transcultural heritage in China during international conferences held between 2016 and 2019. One of these conference papers, regarding the invention of the Russian Style Street in Dalian was published in Winter 2017. Two other articles are currently under revision.
