The Department of Geography of UQAM is pleased to host the 73rd annual conference of the Canadian Association of Geographers (CAG) which will take place from May 8 to 12, 2023 at the Coeur des sciences de l'UQAM under the grand theme of the Anthropocene: Challenges for geography and geographers.

Approximately 250 participants from Canada and various regions of the world are expected to attend. From year to year, the CAG Congresses have been able to attract more and more participants. This has confirmed the CAG's place on the geography scene and has allowed the annual conference to become an unmissable Canadian annual event.  

This national and international event will be an exceptional opportunity to

to share quality scientific research and reflections,
to take stock and consider projects with partners in the field
to strengthen our multisectoral collaboration networks,
learn together how to live better in the era of major climate challenges
to give global recognition to the scientific, social and environmental commitment of partners.
