I am a Ph.D. candidate within the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change at York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. My dissertation research focuses on identifying new remote sensing spectral enhancements useful for tracking post-harvest and post-fire regeneration using Ontario's managed boreal forest as a study area. I work in the Pattern Analytics Through Technology for Environmental Research - Network (PATTERN) Lab under Professor Tarmo K. Remmel:

My coursework had an emphasis on geographic techniques such as geographic information systems and remote sensing. While pursuing my degrees, I have acquired numerous skills relevant to the analysis of physical landscapes and human culture, as well as mathematics and computer programming. These skills are the fundamental building blocks of building a long and enjoyable career.

I am a student member of the American Association of Geographers, the International Association of Landscape Ecology, the American Geophysical Union, and the Canadian Association of Geographers.
