During the talk

  2. The chat function will be disabled during your presentation to prevent unwanted distractions, questions will have to wait to the Q&A.

During the Q&A

  1. The session chair will keep track of questions: participants who wrote “I have a question” or a variant of it will be invited to speak, whereas written questions will be read by the session chair (or yourself).
  2. Collaborate with the chair on moderating questions. Look for raised hands and questions in the chat.

After your talk

Transport the discussion to the conference's Discord server. If you wish, set up your own Zoom meeting at your convenience to chat about your research with interested participant. That's especially relevant for flash talks given their highly restrictive time frame.
