Lucas Monsaingeon
Lucas Monsaingeon est architecte, associé et directeur de projet au sein de l’Atelier d’Architecture Philippe Prost (AAPP) à Paris où il dirige depuis dix ans des projets de réhabilitation et de construction neuve, notamment sur du patrimoine technique et industriel. De 2012 à 2019, il a conduit de nombreuses études sur le territoire du Bassin minier du Nord Pas de Calais pour le compte de la mission Bassin minier, gestionnaire du bien UNESCO, et de collectivités comme la communauté d’agglomération de Béthune Bruay pour laquelle il a suivi au sein de l’AAPP la réhabilitation de la Cité des Electriciens à Bruay-la-Buisière, l’une de cinq cités pilotes et l’un des grands sites de mémoire du territoire. En 2016, il a été lauréat du Richard Morris Hunt Prize pour une recherche sur la préservation des ponts aux Etats-Unis, dont les résultats sont en cours de publication. Depuis 2019, il est en parallèle de son activité d’architecte, doctorant par le projet au sein de l’école universitaire de recherche Humanités, Création, Patrimoine, sur le bassin minier du Nord-Pas-de-Calais comme patrimoine évolutif et vivant, sous la co-direction d'Elizabeth Auclair (laboratoire PLACES, CY Cergy Paris Université), de Frank Rambert (laboratoire Léav, Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Versailles) et de Philippe Prost.
