Welcome to the AmeriDendro 2022 website! 

The local organizing committee is excited to welcome you to Montréal on June 27th to 30th, 2022. AmeriDendro 2022 (fourth edition) brings together all members of the tree ring community from the Americas and abroad, and proposes a stimulating set of talks, and activities relating to tree ring science. Yes, in person ! Just like in the good old days! 


This fourth edition includes :

  • Exciting workshops for both graduate students and senior scientists working with tree rings. 
  • A general session (talks and posters) that covers new developments in all fields and applications of tree-ring research.
  • A list of symposia that adress timely research opportunities for the tree-ring research community.
  • An optional, pre-conference summer school (NADEF) where renown tree-ringers provide hands on training on the use and applications of tree rings. 
  • A non-optional, on-site, International Jazz Festival to enjoy' MTL's lively and FREE cultural scene!

Student Volunteers wanted!!!

The organizing committee needs help for onsite organization and logistics. Selected students who wish to volunteer during AmeriDendro 2022 will get a 50% reduction on their registration ticket (partial refund or discount). Priority will be given to students coming from outside US and Canada. Click HERE to apply before May 10.

AmeriDendro in a compressed 4 days format: June 27 to June 30!

We thought you would enjoy spending Canada day (July 1st, a national holiday) outside, visiting the city and the surroundings. A preliminary schedule for these 4 days can be found here (the schedule will be continuously updated!)

Online accommodation

The organizers are committed to accommodate attendees who are significantly impacted by COVID 19, by prodiving an online option (on demand, more info later when registration opens). However, AmeriDendro 2022 remains an 'in person' event for most people.  See details on our COVID-19 webpage.
